Millikin President Dean Pribbenow to throw out first pitch at Sunday’s Cardinals vs. Cubs game

The NL Central Division matchup will be broadcast on ESPN.

DECATUR, Ill. – Before the umpire shouts “play ball” at this Sunday’s St. Louis Cardinals/Chicago Cubs game, Millikin President Dean Pribbenow will get to take the field under the lights of Busch Stadium.

Millikin’s new President will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch when the Cubs square off with the Cardinals in St. Louis on August 10.  

Before meeting some Millikin alumni members at the game, Pribbenow and guests will get to visit the field, touring the warning track and behind home plate. The pre-game ceremony will take place at about 5:20 p.m. CT, and Pribbenow will throw the first pitch to a Cardinals player or a Cardinals Alumni player.
