Surviving family members are his beloved wife, Sherry Saylor of Shawnee, KS; son, Scott Saylor of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Kelly Lauterbach and husband, Ryan of Kankakee, IL; son, Todd Saylor and wife, Taylor of Roeland Park, KS; and stepdaughter, Carly Robinson of Chicago, IL; his cherished and adored grandchildren are: Ava Lauterbach, Wickland Lauterbach, and Noah Saylor; siblings include: Paula Shear and husband, Melvin of Bourbonnais, IL, Ruth George and husband, Terry of Bourbonnais, IL, Mary Mook and husband, Dave of Glendale, AZ, Joe Saylor and wife, Terri of Kankakee, IL, and his twin brother, Mark Saylor and wife, Diana of Raytown, MO; along with many nephews, nieces, extended family members, and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Carol.
